CoEd Varsity Cheerleading
I have requested the drivers ed room for a season debrief on Thursday, February 8th at 3:45pm. This meeting will be a safe place for us to talk about the previous seasons, goals for the upcoming season, and anything else you might want to share.

There will be an interest meeting later this Spring for returners and any interested athletes. Stay tune for dates

Team Selection will be held later on Friday, August 4th at 5pm. Athletes will be directed into the Gymnastics Room where they will wait to be called for final evaluation. If they are chosen to make a team, they will then be directed to the girls fitness room to wait for the rest of the team.
Parent and Team Meeting will be held directly after teams have been selected on Friday, August 4th at 6pm. We suggest you are dropped off at 5pm and have a parent stay close by while we are selecting teams. This parent and athlete meeting is MANDATORY!
If you make the Varsity team **Please be prepared to pay an initial amount of $80 CASH to go towards needed supplies/food for our team parents to use throughout the season.**
If you make the JV team **Please be prepared to pay an initial amount of $50 CASH to go towards needed supplies/food for our team parents to use throughout the season.**

Westfield Summer Cheer Camp will take place July 10th-14th from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. A copy of the registration form is available in Team Files.

Please find the newest calendar for our May, June and July pre-season practices under our team files! There are a few adjustments from the calendar handed out at our first interest meeting, so please check carefully!
Please join the Cheer Staff at our final interest meeting on Tuesday, May 9 at 6:00 PM in the Driver's Ed Room. Before the meeting, we will be having an apparel fitting with our Varsity clothes representative in the Girls Fitness Room at 4:30 pm. Plan to attend the meeting to hear about tryouts and season expectations.
Please join the WHS Cheer Staff at our final interest meeting. We will be discussing tryout information in detail: What to expect, what to bring, what paperwork is needed, skills expectations, and so on! A copy of the seasons tentative calendar and our rules and expectations contract will both be available to view.
Along with tryout information, this meeting will give you another opportunity to meet our new staff members, including our newest Varsity Assistant - Qaira!
BEFORE THE MEETING: Apparel Fitting with our Varsity Rep.
This will save us time once the season starts, and allows us to pre-order camp wear so it is ready in time. Please come dressed with a sports bra and spanks underneath clothing for proper fitting. If you cannot make the fitting, you can also send Coach Beka your preferred t-shirt size via email.

Below find the link athletes' parents can use to register for the first tumbling class NEXT WEEK. In fact, you can use that register for the class, pay for it, AND sign the waiver/release stuff, so then they can just send the kids in to class. You are encouraged to use this! Please share this amongst other families, it'll save us a bunch of time getting started next Tuesday.
It was great to see so many faces at the interest meeting last night! Some of the conversation was around tumbling, so I wanted to share some information.

Tryouts are just around the corner! Get into the gym with other WHS Cheer Athletes to start working on stunts, tumbling, and more! This is an outside cheer clinic offered by Twisters All Stars, and sign up is through them. Below find information to help you in registering for each class! Spread the word, get into the gym, and work on your skills!

Each class you register and pay for before hand! Work with your teammates and get back into swing of things before tryouts. Don't be surprised if you see some of the WHS Staff observing!
